Bitter orange, also known as Seville orange, is a sour and slightly bitter citrus fruit. Its intense flavor and aromatic peel make it a prized ingredient in marmalades, liqueurs, and traditional medicine. Bitter orange is also the source of several important essential oils, including neroli and petitgrain.
